Intrinsic Labs

Work

We will fix your life with code.

Custom software — mobile, web, full-stack — is what funds the workshop. We take a small number of engagements at a time and build them the way we build our own things: local-first where it makes sense, carefully typeset, coherent as one product rather than a pile of features. If that sounds like what you need, write to helloworld@intrinsiclabs.co.

Small tools we built for ourselves and kept. Each one is on GitHub under the company — some are finished artefacts, some are mid-repair, and the repo is where to see which. The point of publishing them is the same as the research: real work, shown as it is.

  • Retina

A SwiftUI spirograph — three trochoid curves, drawn by hand, animated, and pinched.

  • weft

A typed specification language, with the toolchain to check a design doc the way a compiler checks code.

  • TimeLogger

A stdlib-only Python time logger, written on a phone, for billing hours against a budget.

  • loom-swift

An iPhone loom — language-model conversations as a branching tree you can walk, fork, and export.

  • big-sleep-mps

Big Sleep on Apple silicon — CLIP-guided BigGAN text-to-image, from 128 seconds a step to one.

  • Record Machine

An offline iPhone app for musicians organising a release — demos in, albums and tracks out, metadata attached.
